A Chinese Pale Celadon Jade Censer and Cover
青白玉四方香爐
of rectangular form with rounded corners, flanked on each side with a mythical beast-head form handle with loose rings. The cover is carved with a band of archaistic scroll, the finial of rounded square form, raised on a fitted carved hardwood stand.
Height 4 5/8 in., 11.7 cm.
